Cobalt Catalyst Turns CO2 Into Liquid Fuels Under Carefully Tuned Conditions
Tuning temperature, pressure and a small potassium dose allowed a cobalt-titania catalyst to convert 30.8 percent of CO2 with an estimated 9.2 percent C5+ selectivity, while hotter conditions pushed methane selectivity to about 90 percent.
